Wall Penstock MU range

MU - Wall Penstock

Used for isolation, these valves are manufactured with a guiding frame that is fixed onto the wall.

A gate will slide along the frame sealing the opening on the wall.
In general, they are slinding penstocks but, when big waterheads or a considerable operating effort are to be considered, VADE can also provide WAGON TYPE valves with rolling type elements. They may be mounted onto a wall either by means of expansion bolts or by embeding the frame into the concrete.

The size and dimensions on these penstocks depend on the civil works requirements and the opening that needs to be covered.

As an orientation, the different models, acc. to sizes are as follow:

1MU: up to 6 m.w.h & up to size 700 x 700

2MU: up to 8 m.w.h & up ti size 1200 x 1200

4MU: up to 8 m.w.h & up to size 2000 x 2000

5 & 6 MU: Wagon type (for gig heads of water)
