Installed at the end og a duct in a reservoir or dam, VADE fixed cone valve consists of a fabricated main body with a flanged connection at one end of it and a bare or canalizing end at the opposite side, and a moving jacket that slides along and inside the main body.
When the jacketslides out along the main body, it lets out a cone shaped element, controlling the amount of water that is emptied out through it, in a jet fashion.
They are mounted onto an end of line flange type connection.
The most usual types of valve are as follows:
The valve expelling the water jet freely out in the open.
The valve expelling the water out in the open through a canalizing element (moving canalizing element).
The valve expelling the water into the medium while submerged (fixed canalizing element).
VADE fixed cone valve main function consists ot controlling the water flow, discharge, and disipating energy.
