Installed at the end og a duct in a reservoir or dam, VADE fixed cone valve consists of a fabricated main body with a flanged connection at one end of it and a bare or canalizing end at the opposite side, and a moving jacket that slides along and inside the main body.
When the jacketslides out along the main body, it lets out a cone shaped element, controlling the amount of water that is emptied out through it, in a jet fashion.
They are mounted onto an end of line flange type connection.
The most usual types of valve are as follows:
– The valve expelling the water jet freely out in the open.
– The valve expelling the water out in the open through a canalizing element (moving canalizing element).
– The valve expelling the water into the medium while submerged (fixed canalizing element).
VADE fixed cone valve main function consists ot controlling the water flow, discharge, and disipating energy.
